Customized for success

The concept - and the success – of the LDT Nagold is based on three principles. These determine the orientation of the Academy for Fashion Management from the beginning.

First, practical orientation. The LDT Nagold systematically combines business content with commercial knowledge themes in a structured manner. Theoretical content is limited to the essentials – practical application of the learned material is always in the foreground. A crucial plus for the graduates of the Academy.

Second, customer orientation. Students are our customers! In close cooperation with management and faculty, they “purchase” and receive the knowledge and competence demanded by the market for up-coming managers. The training is tailored for success.

Third, the private sector structure. The LDT Nagold is not dependent on national education plans and is therefore able to determine its offering independently – both in the teaching content as well as in its choice of lecturers. We ensure an uncompromising focus on the profiles actually required in professional practice - we are thus able to achieve a very high degree of market-oriented qualifications. The industry knows this and repeatedly confirms it: Graduates of the LDT Nagold are “fit for the job”.

The LDT Nagold is financed without public funding, only receiving funding from tuition fees, seminar revenues and from the proceeds of its show-windows rentals. Through its educational work, it is actively supported by the associations BTE and BDSE as well as the LDT Foundation.
