Steinbeis Hochschule Berlin is a private, state-recognised university based in Berlin. The key to success in all of their programmes is their focus on the development of competencies: the Project-Competence-Concept. Each student works on a real-life project adapted to his/her job position as well as the company’s needs and challenges. The study programme’s curriculum is based on the process of project planning and execution. This concept allows students to apply the newly acquired theoretical knowledge in their daily working lives. Moreover, the projects aim at providing relevant solutions and are often able to generate measurable added-value for the student’s company.
